No. Most Developmental Studies courses are offered online. However, some courses from other departments that are part of our curriculum may require in-person attendance. Additionally, we offer one in-person Saturday class for both the Fall and Winter terms. This blended format ensures flexibility while also providing opportunities for hands-on learning.

Here is the step-by-step process of applying to the UWinnipeg Arts program to register for the final three Core Developmental Studies Courses at the end of the Advanced Diploma in Leadership in ECCE PACE program: advanced-diploma-in-leadership-in-ece-to-developmental-studies.pdf

Developmental Studies has a rolling admission, but we highly encourage students to apply at least 4-5 months before they wish to start school. This allows time for your application to be processed. Please note that registration for both the Fall and Winter terms begins in mid-June. Students are encouraged to apply as early as possible so that they can register before courses fill.

• February 1 - for courses that take place in the Spring Term (May to August)
• May 1 - for courses that take place in the Fall and Winter Terms (Fall: September to December Winter: January to April)

If you choose the Child Care Administration specialization in Stream C, you will need Pre-Calculus Mathematics 40S or Applied Mathematics 40S.
